Workshops

IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING OUR WORKSHOPS:-

Workshops are run at my home based studio in Royal Wootton Bassett. Spaces are only reserved once full payment has been received. Please email [email protected], text or call Rachel 07828 552610 to reserve your space and arrange payment. payments are not refundable, although with at least 48 hours notice payment can be utilised toward another workshop.Facilities - Sadly we do not currently have any wheelchair access to the premises and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.We offer free tea and coffee during your workshop.We have toilet facilities here!

Cost £45 which includes a kit with all materials required

Date: workshop spread over 2 sessions:-

Wed 4th Dec 10am-12pm & Wed 11th Dec 10am-12pm. 

Projects: Suitable for total beginners. Create a bee brooch using bead weaving techniques and bead embroidery techniques, using a specialist needle and thread.  I will take you through each stage of the process  which begins by handstitching around a printed picture on a beading foundation. 

Skill level: Suitable for total beginners and experienced beaders. 

Cost £25 which includes materials. 

In this workshop you will make 2 unisex bracelets with stylish magnetic bracelet clasps.  A choice a colours in both leather and faux suede. 

I will take you through each step during the workshop including making the decorative whipping knots and adding the clasp. 

Dates: Tues 10th Dec 10-11.30am.

Skill level: For complete beginners or existing beaders looking to explore a new jewellery medium.

Cost £25 which includes materials with a choice of seed beads and glass donut pendant. 

Date: Wed 18th December 10-12.30pm

 Projects: Create a decorative hand stitched pendant bail combining with bead weaving techniques, using a specialist needle and thread.  The stitch is know as peyote which is a native American indian stitch. 

Learn to make a peyote bail.

Range of colours available. 

Tools provided for use during the session.  

Skill level: It is recommended that you have used needle and thread before - but otherwise suitable for beginners.

Learn a number of techniques using the coiling gizmo to make a variety of coiled wire beads to create a bracelet. 

Cost £20 which includes materials

Date: Tuesday 7th January 2020 10am-12pm. 

Projects: Create a  wirework bracelet using the coiling gizmo, which is a tool that is clamped to the table and allows you to make neat coils, using various sized mandrels. Its a clever device and you will produce a bracelet during the session. 

Tools & use of coiling gizmo providing  during the workshop 

Skill level: This is a great course for regular beaders and also suitable for beginners.

Projects: Suitable for total beginners. Create a Dragonfly brooch using bead weaving techniques and bead embroidery techniques, using a specialist needle and thread.  I will take you through each stage of the process  which begins by handstitching around a printed picture on a beading foundation. 

Skill level: Suitable for total beginners and experienced beaders.
